Facility Overview
Located in the heart of the vibrant Ironbound District in Newark, New Jersey, the 12 McWhorter St Parking facility serves as a critical infrastructure point for locals and visitors alike. This is primarily an open-air surface lot, which provides a significant advantage for drivers operating larger vehicles such as full-size SUVs, pickup trucks, and high-roof vans, as there are no height clearance restrictions typical of enclosed parking garages.

It is situated just a short walk from the Prudential Center, the home of the New Jersey Devils and a major venue for international concerts and events. The facility is also within walking distance of the bustling Ferry Street dining corridor, famous for its world-class Portuguese, Brazilian, and Spanish cuisine. For those looking to commute, the location is strategically placed near Newark Penn Station, providing seamless access to NYC and the greater New Jersey transit network.
