Facility Overview
The 941 S Union Ave Parking facility is an open-air surface lot located in the vibrant Pico-Union neighborhood of Los Angeles. As an outdoor facility, it offers a straightforward, no-frills parking experience with 75 available spaces. Its open-air design means there are no vertical clearance restrictions, making it an excellent choice for drivers operating large pickup trucks, full-size SUVs, or lifted vehicles that might struggle with the height limitations of traditional indoor garages.
Prime Location & Nearby Attractions
This parking facility is perfectly situated for visitors of the popular El Gato Night Market, which hosts a variety of local food vendors and cultural experiences. Given its central location in the Pico-Union area, the lot is also a convenient jump-off point for those exploring the culinary scene along S Union Ave. While not directly adjacent to the major downtown sports arenas, it offers a quieter, more affordable alternative to the high-cost parking structures closer to the Crypto.com Arena and the Los Angeles Convention Center, which are reachable within a short ride or a moderate commute.
Access, Navigation & Transit Connectivity
The lot provides direct street-level access from South Union Avenue, ensuring a quick and easy arrival. Traffic in the Pico-Union area can be dense during evening hours, especially when the night market is in full swing, so drivers are encouraged to arrive early. The location benefits from proximity to major Los Angeles traffic arteries, allowing for relatively efficient access to the 110 and 10 freeways. Public transit users will find several LA Metro bus stops within walking distance, connecting the area to the broader Downtown Los Angeles transit network.
