Overview & Suitability
Blue Lot 1 is a premier event parking facility located in Kansas City, Kansas, specifically serving the Children's Mercy Park stadium complex. This lot is designed for standard passenger vehicles. Please note that trailers, campers, buses, RVs, and any vehicles exceeding the footprint of a single standard parking space are strictly prohibited in this area and will be directed to designated overflow facilities.
Access, Dimensions & Clearance
The facility is accessible via the main stadium traffic routes, typically accessed from State Avenue or 110th Street. Navigation is straightforward for standard vehicles, though event-day traffic management may require following specific directional signage provided by parking staff. There is no vehicle height clearance restriction for standard passenger cars, but oversized vehicles are not permitted.
Parking Rates, Tariffs & Booking
Parking access at Blue Lot 1 is primarily restricted to specific premium season ticket members and is generally not available for single-game purchase to the general public. Availability is managed through official club channels and authorized platforms like SeatGeek for eligible members. Advanced booking or digital permit verification is often required; on-site cash payments are typically not accepted for this lot.
Security & Amenities
The lot is professionally managed during event hours with active parking staff on-site to assist with traffic flow and enforcement. Tailgating is permitted provided that the activity remains confined to the user's single designated parking space. Vehicles remaining in the lot two hours after the conclusion of an event are subject to towing.
Strategic Alternative
Blue Lot 1 serves as a high-convenience parking option for attendees of Sporting Kansas City matches. It is strategically positioned to provide proximity to the stadium, reducing walking distances compared to general overflow lots. For non-members, the area offers various other public parking alternatives within the Village West district, though attendees are cautioned against parking in unauthorized areas such as near The Legends or Nebraska Furniture Mart to avoid towing.
