Facility Overview
Colonial Parking Station #452, located at 701 9th St NW, serves as a primary underground parking garage in the heart of Washington, D.C.\'s Penn Quarter district. This facility is professionally managed by Colonial Parking and is optimized for standard passenger vehicles. As a subterranean structure, it provides a secure and climate-shielded environment for visitors, commuters, and those attending events at nearby downtown attractions.
Access and Navigation
Access to the garage is primarily handled through the 8th St NW entrance, situated between H St NW and G St NW. Drivers should be aware that this is an underground facility; while it is designed for standard commuter vehicles, navigate with care as typical of urban subterranean parking. It is recommended that visitors verify any specific floor restrictions upon entry, as certain levels may contain reserved parking spaces for local institutions.
Booking and Payments
Parking can be facilitated through digital platforms like SpotHero, which is highly recommended for securing your spot in advance, especially during high-traffic events at nearby venues. The facility supports modern contactless entry methods; users should be prepared to scan QR codes at designated readers upon arrival and departure. Rates in this sector of downtown Washington typically reflect the premium demand of the Penn Quarter area.
