The Dana Parking Lot is an open-air surface parking facility situated on the main campus of Berry College in Mount Berry, GA. Positioned adjacent to Dana Hall, a prominent student residence community, and directly across from the historic Berry College Chapel, this lot is designed primarily for standard passenger cars, SUVs, and light trucks. It is highly suitable for students, faculty, and campus visitors, particularly those attending weddings, services, or special events at the chapel. While standard vehicles park here easily, oversized motorhomes or RVs are not suited for this lot and should instead utilize the college's designated RV parking spaces, which can be coordinated through campus safety.

Access, Dimensions & Clearance

As an open-surface parking lot, there are no overhead height or clearance restrictions to navigate within the lot itself. Access to the facility requires passing through the main campus entrance via the Gate of Opportunity off Martha Berry Highway NW (US-27). All visitors without an active RFID campus decal must use the right-hand visitor lane at the Welcome Center, where they must present a valid drivers license to gain entry. From the Welcome Center, drivers continue straight to the roundabout, take the exit onto Opportunity Drive, proceed for about 0.3 miles, and turn right onto Martha Berry Circle S; the Dana Parking Lot will be clearly visible on the left.

Parking Rates, Tariffs & Booking

Parking for daytime campus visitors at Berry College is completely free, and no temporary parking passes are required for general visits. For frequent visitors or community members, annual guest decals can be purchased at the Welcome Center for $25 (payable via card or check only), which grants automatic gate access between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM. No pre-booking or mobile apps are required to park in this lot. Students and staff must display their official registered campus parking decals at all times.
