Facility Overview
The Edison ParkFast located at 97 Lafayette St, Newark, NJ 07102, is a strategically positioned parking facility serving the heart of downtown Newark. This lot is an open-air surface parking configuration, which offers significant advantages for drivers who prefer avoiding the tight turns and height restrictions common in older, multi-level parking garages. It is well-suited for standard passenger cars, large pickup trucks, and full-size SUVs. Because it is a surface lot, there are no vertical clearance limits, making it a highly accommodating option for vehicles with roof racks or larger footprints.

Visitor & Driver Tips
For the best experience, we recommend arriving at least 60 to 90 minutes before the start of major events at the Prudential Center to avoid pre-event traffic congestion. During high-attendance events, surge pricing may apply, so checking availability through a mobile parking app in advance is highly encouraged to guarantee your spot. Ensure your GPS is set to \'97 Lafayette St\' and be mindful of local one-way street patterns common in downtown Newark to ensure the smoothest approach to the lot entrance.
