Enmarket Arena Parking - Lot D is one of the official, general, open-air surface parking lots servicing the premier Enmarket Arena. Located at 730 Hastings Street, near the corner of West Gwinnett Street, this lot is situated approximately 0.25 miles (a short, convenient walk) from the arena's main entrance. It is highly suitable for standard passenger vehicles such as sedans, SUVs, and pickup trucks. Please note that tailgating of any kind is strictly prohibited in Lot D (no grills, heating devices, or tents exceeding 8' x 8' are allowed), and vehicles exceeding 18 feet in length or 8 feet in width are not permitted to park in standard lined spaces.
Access, Dimensions & Clearance
As an outdoor, open-air surface lot, Lot D has no overhead clearance limitations, making it accessible for taller standard consumer vehicles. Access is primarily routed through West Gwinnett Street and Hastings Street. However, due to ongoing infrastructure developments and local canal waterways, the surrounding roads (such as Stiles Avenue) are narrow and prone to severe gridlock on event nights. Navigating this area requires patience, and drivers are strongly urged to arrive at least 60 to 90 minutes before the scheduled event start time to avoid heavy traffic flow directed by local law enforcement.
Parking Rates, Tariffs & Booking
Pre-purchasing a parking pass online is strongly recommended, as drive-up spaces are rarely available for major concerts or Savannah Ghost Pirates hockey games. General parking passes typically range from $20.00 to $30.00 depending on the event, though prices can surge on third-party resale platforms for high-demand shows. Payment inside the official arena ecosystem is entirely cashless; pay stations and attendants only accept major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. All vehicles must vacate the lot immediately following the conclusion of the event.
Security & Amenities
The lot is actively staffed by parking attendants and security personnel during arrival hours, with traffic patterns controlled by the Savannah Police Department and local law enforcement. It features bright lighting for safe nighttime departures. Conveniently placed trash receptacles and designated hot-charcoal disposal bins are distributed across the lot. However, the lot lacks public restrooms and EV charging stations.
Strategic Alternative
On high-demand or sold-out event nights, Lot D can fill up quickly or become trapped in post-event gridlock. A popular strategic alternative is to utilize the city-run park-and-ride shuttle service. Patrons can park in downtown Savannah municipal garages (such as the Liberty Street Garage or Robinson Garage) for affordable flat evening rates (often around $2.00 after 5:00 PM on weekdays), and board the official arena shuttle outside the Savannah Civic Center for a nominal round-trip fee ($5 for hockey games/family events, $10 for concerts).
