Overview and Suitability
Point Lookout Marina is a premier full-service facility located in the quiet town of Ridge, Maryland, situated along the deep-water Smith Creek off the Potomac River. While the facility is primarily designed for marine operations and slip rentals, it provides essential parking areas for boat owners and visitors accessing the marina grounds. The property is designed to accommodate standard passenger vehicles; however, parking is primarily intended for guests utilizing the marina\'s 160 slips, boat repair services, or on-site dining facilities.
Access and Navigation
Located at 16244 Millers Wharf Road, the site is accessible via standard roadway vehicles. Navigators should be aware that this is an active marina environment; roads within the facility are designed for boat-hauling equipment and trailers. Drivers are advised to exercise caution due to the presence of heavy marine machinery and frequent vessel transport activity near the water\'s edge.
Parking Rates and Booking
Parking for standard vehicles is typically provided for guests and patrons of the marina. Boaters interested in slip rentals or long-term trailer storage should contact the management office directly, as rates for vessel-related parking are handled through custom service agreements. There is no automated daily public parking fee structure for non-patrons.
Security and Amenities
The facility maintains a professional presence to support its 160 slips and maintenance operations. Amenities available to patrons include:
- On-site restrooms and laundry facilities
- Fuel dock (gas and diesel)
- On-site restaurant (Salt Waterfront Kitchen)
- Full-service maintenance shop
- Deep-water slip accessibility
