About this Location

Overview and Suitability

The Glynn County Stadium parking facility serves as the primary ground-level parking area for events held at the Glynn County Stadium, located at 5 Community Action Drive in Brunswick, GA. This venue, which has a capacity of 12,500, hosts high-profile local high school football games, including matches for Brunswick and Glynn Academy. The parking area is designed primarily for standard passenger vehicles and is utilized during stadium events.

Access, Dimensions, and Clearance

The facility provides surface-level parking with standard access points for passenger vehicles. While there are no specific height clearance restrictions noted for open-air surface lots, drivers should be aware of high-traffic congestion during event hours. The site is designed to accommodate general admission parking, and fans are encouraged to arrive early to ensure convenient positioning relative to the stadium gates.

Parking Rates, Tariffs, and Booking

Parking at the Glynn County Stadium is typically managed in conjunction with event operations. While there is no dedicated hourly or monthly rate, visitors should be prepared for event-day parking procedures, which may involve on-site payment or pre-purchased parking passes depending on the specific event. It is recommended to verify local school district guidelines for specific game-day parking fees.

Security and Amenities

The stadium and its surrounding grounds have recently implemented enhanced security measures to ensure public safety. These include:

Increased security personnel presence during all athletic events.
Metal detector screenings at stadium gate entrances.
Improved site lighting to support evening game accessibility.
Clear signage for standard parking bays.

Strategic Alternatives

As the central hub for high school athletics in the region, this lot serves as the most direct and convenient access point for spectators attending games at Glynn County Stadium. For those visiting during major events where on-site parking may reach capacity, visitors are advised to coordinate with local event organizers or check official school district communications for secondary overflow parking locations in the immediate vicinity.
