Overview & Suitability

The Red and Blue Garages provide the primary on-airport parking solution for travelers using William P. Hobby Airport (HOU). These multi-level parking facilities are designed for short-term and long-term airport parking, offering direct, weather-protected access to the terminal building via climate-controlled walkways.

Access & Navigation

The garages are situated directly across from the HOU terminal. Navigational signage clearly directs motorists from Airport Blvd into the respective Red or Blue entrances. These facilities are built for standard passenger vehicles; however, travelers with oversized vehicles should contact airport management for specific height clearance details, as standard garage limitations apply.

Parking Rates & Booking

Parking rates at HOU are structured to accommodate both quick terminal drop-offs and extended trips. While pre-booking is not always strictly required, it is highly recommended during peak travel seasons to guarantee a spot. Payments can be made via automated kiosks located throughout the garages, which accept major credit cards. Cash payment options are generally limited at automated exits.

Security & Amenities

Both the Red and Blue Garages are monitored 24/7 by airport security personnel and surveillance systems, ensuring a safe environment for parked vehicles. Amenities include well-lit parking levels, elevator access to all floors, and high-visibility signage to assist with vehicle location upon your return.

Strategic Connectivity

These garages act as the premier strategic choice for all HOU passengers. By parking on-site, travelers bypass the need for external shuttles or ride-share coordination, making them the most efficient option for those prioritizing time-saving and convenience when flying out of Houston.
