The facility provides standard surface-level parking and is managed under the municipal parking regulations of the Town of Huntington.
Parking Rates and Operations
Parking operations within Huntington Village follow a standardized municipal structure:
- Rates: The metered rate is $1.00 per hour, enforced Monday through Saturday.
- Time Limits: A maximum time limit of 3 hours typically applies to short-term municipal spots in this district.
- Sundays: Parking is free of charge on Sundays.
- Payment: Users should check for posted zone numbers and utilize the designated municipal payment stations or mobile applications as directed by on-site signage.
Access and Convenience
Located on New Street, the lot provides easy vehicular access to the heart of the village. It serves as a primary alternative to on-street metered parking, offering a more stable and predictable parking environment for those spending time in the downtown corridor. The area is well-integrated into the local traffic flow, though visitors are encouraged to consult the official Huntington Village parking map to ensure they are utilizing municipal-designated spaces correctly.
Security and Amenities
As a municipal facility, the lot benefits from town oversight and public safety patrolling. While open-air, the lot is situated in a well-trafficked area of the village, providing a standard level of visibility and access to pedestrian walkways connecting directly to major storefronts and local attractions.
