Facility Overview

The IAH Brown Garage is a primary terminal-adjacent parking facility located at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas. Designed as a multi-level, weather-protected structure, it provides direct, sheltered access to terminal facilities, making it the gold standard for travelers prioritizing convenience and speed. The garage is engineered to accommodate standard passenger vehicles, including most full-size SUVs and pickup trucks. However, motorists driving oversized commercial vehicles, high-roof vans, or vehicles with rooftop cargo carriers should exercise caution and verify clearance signs at the entrance, as standard terminal garage clearances typically range between 6\'8\" and 7\'0\".

Prime Location & Nearby Attractions

Located directly within the IAH terminal core, this parking facility serves as the gateway for travelers arriving for domestic and international flights. While primarily intended for airport passengers, its location provides immediate access to all terminal gate areas, airline check-in counters, and TSA security checkpoints. Travelers using this garage are within a 5-minute walk of major airline hubs, airport dining, and retail centers within the terminal building, effectively eliminating the need for shuttle bus transit.

Access, Navigation & Transit Connectivity

Access to the Brown Garage is streamlined via the main airport terminal road system (N Terminal Rd). Drivers arriving from the Beltway 8 or Will Clayton Parkway will find clear signage directing them toward the Terminal parking sectors. Exiting the facility is straightforward, though drivers should remain mindful of the terminal loop traffic, especially during peak travel holidays or evening departure surges. While there is no direct light rail access inside the garage, the location offers seamless connectivity to the airport\'s inter-terminal Skyway and subway train system.
