Overview & Suitability

The IAH Terminals A&B Parking Garage is an official on-airport parking facility serving passengers at George Bush Intercontinental Airport. It is designed specifically for short-term and long-term parking for passenger vehicles, providing convenient, climate-controlled access directly to Terminals A and B via skywalks.

Access, Dimensions & Clearance

The garage is accessible via the main airport terminal road system. Standard vehicle clearance for most airport terminal garages is approximately 7 feet. It is recommended to check signage upon entry for specific oversized vehicle restrictions, as high-profile vehicles such as RVs or lifted trucks may need to utilize designated outdoor parking lots.

Parking Rates, Tariffs & Booking

Pricing is determined by the airport authority and is structured to favor short-term stays, though daily caps apply. Online pre-booking is highly recommended through the official IAH airport website to secure a space and often receive discounted rates compared to drive-up \"pay-on-arrival\" pricing. Payment is accepted via credit/debit cards at automated kiosks or exit lanes.

Security & Amenities

The facility features 24/7 security monitoring, well-lit parking levels, and proximity to terminal check-in areas. Being an official airport facility, it is fully ADA compliant with designated accessible parking spaces located near elevator banks.

Strategic Alternatives

This garage is the premier choice for travelers flying out of Terminals A or B. For those seeking more economical, long-term options, the airport provides off-site ecopark lots with shuttle service to the terminals.
