Overview & Suitability

The Jericho Lot, located at 8300 Sheriff Rd in Landover, MD, is a facility primarily utilized for event parking in the vicinity of Northwest Stadium. It is not a standard long-term public parking facility or campground. Historically, the site has been designated for temporary event parking, particularly for large-scale events or games at the nearby stadium.

Access, Dimensions & Clearance

The lot is designed for standard passenger vehicles. As an open-surface lot, there are no height restrictions or complex clearance requirements typically associated with parking garages; however, access is generally restricted to permit holders or event-specific operations.

Parking Rates, Tariffs & Booking

There are no standardized hourly or daily rates available for public booking, as this site operates intermittently for specific venue events. Parking at this location is often managed through event-specific permits (such as 'Purple' or other color-coded stadium parking passes) rather than open-to-the-public payment systems.

Security & Amenities

As a temporary or event-based parking surface lot, amenities are minimal. Security is provided by event staff during operational hours. There are no specialized facilities such as EV charging stations, covered parking, or long-term vehicle storage services at this address.

Strategic Alternative

This location serves as a key parking satellite for visitors attending events at Northwest Stadium (home of the Washington Commanders). It acts as an overflow or designated permit lot for those looking to be within walking distance of the stadium complex. For general commuting or non-event parking, visitors are advised to utilize official transit-oriented parking, such as the nearby Landover Metro Station.
