Facility Overview
Lot 9 is a prominent surface parking facility located at 900-998 4th Ave S in St. Petersburg, Florida. Situated in close proximity to Tropicana Field, this lot primarily functions as a designated event parking zone. Its strategic location makes it a primary choice for visitors attending baseball games, large-scale community distributions, and other major events hosted at the nearby stadium.
Access and Navigation
The lot provides ample surface-level parking with easy ingress and egress for standard passenger vehicles. As an open-air lot, there are no vertical clearance restrictions, making it suitable for oversized vehicles that typically cannot fit into parking garages. Drivers should navigate 4th Ave S with care during peak event times due to high pedestrian traffic.
Rates and Booking
Parking rates at Lot 9 are dynamic and specifically adjusted based on the event schedule at Tropicana Field. While there is no centralized public booking portal for this specific parcel, visitors are generally expected to pay upon arrival via on-site attendants or automated kiosks. It is recommended to have multiple payment methods available, as event-day parking often favors credit card transactions.
Strategic Importance
Lot 9 serves as a vital relief parking solution for the downtown St. Petersburg area. Its proximity to the stadium provides a convenient alternative to street parking, which is often limited or subject to strictly enforced time limits during game days and public gatherings.
