Facility Overview
Lot O is an expansive open-air surface parking facility situated along Championship Drive West on the Owens Community College Toledo-area campus in Perrysburg, Ohio. Designed to serve students, faculty, athletes, and visiting spectators, the lot features wide asphalt driving lanes, clearly demarcated stalls, and an open layout that ensures smooth two-way vehicular flow. Because Lot O is an outdoor surface lot without structural overhead restrictions, it offers unrestricted vertical clearance. This makes it exceptionally well-suited for all types of standard passenger cars, large pickup trucks, full-size SUVs, passenger vans, and high-clearance utility vehicles that might otherwise struggle in low-clearance parking garages.
Prime Location & Nearby Attractions
Located in the heart of the Owens Community College athletic and educational corridor, Lot O provides direct walking access to key campus destinations and recreational amenities. It sits steps away from the Owens Outdoor Sports Complex and the Student Health and Activities Center (SHAC), making it the primary parking zone for Express collegiate baseball, softball, and soccer matches, as well as community sports tournaments. Additionally, visitors are within a 5-to-10-minute walk of the Center for Fine and Performing Arts, Heritage Hall, and administrative buildings. The facility is also a short 5-minute drive from the Crossroads Centre shopping district, featuring major retailers, dining options, and casual eateries along US-20 and Route 23.
Access, Navigation & Transit Connectivity
Navigating to and from Lot O is quick and uncomplicated. Drivers access the facility directly via Championship Drive West, which loops smoothly around the perimeter of the athletic complexes and connects directly with Oregon Road (County Road 107) and Tracy Road. For regional commuters, the parking facility provides immediate proximity to Interstate 75 (I-75) and the Ohio Turnpike (Interstate 80/90), ensuring effortless freeway access towards Toledo, Bowling Green, and northwest Ohio. Multiple campus ring roads allow departing traffic to disperse rapidly following games, commencement exercises, or special campus events.

Visitor & Driver Tips
While parking is frequently open and unrestricted during major athletic meets, graduation ceremonies, and testing periods, visitors visiting during standard academic semesters should check current Owens campus parking regulations or permit guidelines. For weekend athletic tournaments, arriving 20 to 30 minutes before game time is recommended to secure spaces nearest the dugouts and grandstands. Set your GPS navigation directly to Championship Drive West or Oregon Road to avoid taking service delivery alleys.
