Facility Overview
The MTSU RV Lot is a specialized parking facility located on Blue Raider Drive in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, specifically designed to accommodate oversized vehicles and recreational vehicles (RVs) visiting the Middle Tennessee State University campus. Unlike standard parking garages or compact surface lots, this site is an expansive, open-air surface area, making it highly suitable for large pickup trucks, full-size SUVs, Class A/C motorhomes, and vehicles with trailers. Because it is an outdoor lot, there are no vertical clearance restrictions, providing unlimited headroom for high-roof vans or vehicles equipped with roof-mounted gear.
Prime Location & Nearby Attractions
Situated directly on the grounds of the Middle Tennessee State University campus, this lot is the premier choice for attendees of university-sponsored events. It serves as a central hub for those visiting:
- Johnny \'Red\' Floyd Stadium: The home of Blue Raider football, located just a short walk away.
- Murphy Center: The primary venue for university basketball games, major concerts, and regional indoor sporting events.
- MTSU Campus Facilities: Ideal for families during move-in weeks, graduation ceremonies, or alumni weekend activities.
The lot\'s proximity to these venues allows for a seamless transition from your vehicle to the heart of the action, typically requiring only a 5 to 10-minute walk.
Access, Navigation & Transit Connectivity
The lot is accessible via Blue Raider Drive, with major thoroughfares like Middle Tennessee Boulevard providing clear routes for travelers arriving from I-24. Drivers should expect high-density traffic during university home games or major events at the Murphy Center; therefore, arriving early is highly recommended. While the lot is primarily for vehicle access, it is well-positioned for those planning to use ride-sharing services, as the clear, open layout provides easy drop-off and pick-up zones.

Ensure your GPS is set to \'Blue Raider Drive\' to avoid navigating through restricted or permit-only faculty zones elsewhere on campus.
