It is ideally suited for standard passenger cars, SUVs, and minivans visiting the restaurant. Because of its compact layout and position at the resort\'s main entrance, this lot is not suitable for RVs, motorhomes, trailers, or oversized commercial vehicles; drivers of such vehicles should utilize the spacious public parking lots located across Highway 17 at Barefoot Landing.

Access to the parking lot is straightforward, with entrances located off North Beach Boulevard, just seconds from Highway 17. The immediate surface lot is open-air with no overhead clearance restrictions, making it highly accommodating for taller passenger vans. However, the physical dimensions of this front lot are quite tight, meaning that maneuvering during busy weekend dinner rushes can be challenging. For resort guests transitioning to the adjacent multi-level parking structure, a standard vehicle clearance height of approximately 6 feet 8 inches to 7 feet is enforced.

Self-parking in the designated Nacho Hippo front lot is completely free of charge for patrons on a first-come, first-served basis. No advanced booking, reservations, or digital parking apps are required. Because the direct surface lot is exceptionally small and fills up rapidly during peak times (particularly Friday and Saturday nights featuring live music), the restaurant frequently provides a complimentary valet parking service. This allows guests to easily drop off their vehicles at the front circle without the stress of hunting for an open spot.

Situated directly across from Barefoot Landing, visitors can park for free at Barefoot Landing\'s massive surface lots to explore shops and theaters, and then easily walk across to Nacho Hippo for dinner. Conversely, dining guests can use the resort\'s complimentary shuttle service to easily access nearby beachfront points of interest and adjacent resort attractions.
