Overview & Suitability
The Midwest Trust Center Parking Garages at Johnson County Community College (JCCC) are dedicated facilities serving visitors to the Midwest Trust Center, including attendees of Yardley Hall and the Polsky Theatre. These are standard, two-level parking structures designed for passenger vehicles. While primarily intended for event patrons, they operate as part of the broader campus parking infrastructure and are not suitable for oversized vehicles like motorhomes or RVs.
Access, Dimensions & Clearance
The garages are situated directly to the north of the Midwest Trust Center. Access is best achieved by entering the campus via the east College Boulevard entrance. The facility features standard multi-level clearance typical for university garages. Guests are advised to arrive 20-25 minutes before event curtain times, as garages can experience high demand during peak campus hours.
Parking Rates, Tariffs & Booking
Parking at the Midwest Trust Center is free for all event guests and visitors. There is no pre-booking requirement, and no payment is collected at the facility. Visitors should simply allow sufficient time to park and walk to the venue.
Security & Amenities
The facility is managed by the JCCC campus environment, featuring:
- Regular patrol by the JCCC Police Department
- Emergency response systems, including blue-light emergency phones
- Accessible parking located in the garages with elevator access to both the lobby and theater levels of the Midwest Trust Center
- Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations, maintained by ChargePoint
Strategic Alternative
This location serves as the primary parking hub for all arts and performance events hosted at the Midwest Trust Center. In the event that the primary garages are at capacity, overflow parking is available in the Student Center lot (west of the Midwest Trust Center) or the larger Galileo's Garden multi-level parking structure located on the south end of the campus.
