This lot is explicitly zoned for KSU Faculty and Staff permit holders, requiring a virtual permit linked to the vehicle's license plate. It is not open to general student commuter parking or everyday public visitors, as standard visitor parking on Kennesaw State University Road has permanently relocated to Lot A. However, during major university events like Commencement ceremonies, Lot B is uniquely designated for accessible parking, accommodating elderly guests and visitors with disabilities who require individualized golf cart shuttle assistance to the Convocation Center.

As an open surface lot, Parking Lot B does not feature the restrictive vertical height clearances common in KSU's multi-level decks, making it highly accessible for standard passenger cars, SUVs, and permitted utility vehicles. Primary vehicular access is available via Kennesaw State University Road NW, with an additional entrance located on Paulding Avenue. Following campus pedestrian enhancements, the smaller section of Lot B has been separated and renamed Lot C, meaning there is no longer vehicular flow between the two lots.
