Facility Overview
The Promenade Mall Parking Garage serves as a primary covered parking structure for Promenade Temecula, the premier retail, dining, and entertainment destination in southwest Riverside County. Situated conveniently at 40762 Winchester Rd, this multi-level parking facility offers hundreds of sheltered bays designed to protect vehicles from the intense Southern California sun. The garage features wide drive aisles, intuitive one-way circulating ramps, and distinct level demarcations. Standard passenger sedans, crossovers, and mid-size SUVs can comfortably navigate all levels with vertical clearance posted at 7 feet 0 inches (2.13 meters). Drivers of lifted 4x4 trucks, full-size commercial vans, or vehicles equipped with high roof racks should utilize the extensive open-air surface lots flanking the garage structure to prevent overhead obstruction.
Prime Location & Nearby Attractions
The garage offers direct, sheltered pedestrian connections into Promenade Temecula\'s vibrant indoor mall and outdoor open-air lifestyle plaza. Visitors parked here are within seconds of popular anchor stores including Macy\'s, JCPenney, and specialty retailers such as the Apple Store, Lululemon, Sephora, and H&M. For entertainment, the Regal Promenade & IMAX complex is situated just outside the garage doors. Outstanding culinary options surround the structure within a 1 to 3-minute stroll, including The Cheesecake Factory, Yard House, P.F. Chang\'s, Red Robin, and Lucille\'s Smokehouse Bar-B-Que. Furthermore, the facility sits only 3 miles north of historic Old Town Temecula and serves as an effortless jumping-off point for visitors exploring Temecula Valley Wine Country, located just 10 to 15 minutes to the east.
Access, Navigation & Transit Connectivity
Ingress and egress are straightforward via the inner mall ring road, accessible from multiple signaled intersections along Winchester Road (State Route 79), Margarita Road, and Ynez Road. Direct connection to Interstate 15 (I-15) via the Winchester Road interchange ensures rapid freeway access for regional travelers commuting from Murrieta, Menifee, or northern San Diego County. For public transportation users, the Promenade Mall Transit Center is situated on the mall campus within short walking distance, providing direct connections to Riverside Transit Agency (RTA) bus routes including Lines 23, 24, 55, and 79.

Visitor & Driver Tips

Drivers of oversized vehicles should steer clear of the garage ramps and take advantage of the generous open-air parking bays situated right outside the structure. If you are catching a late movie screening, note which pedestrian access door you use, as certain interior mall corridors close before the cinema\'s final showtimes conclude.
