Facility Overview
The Publix Supermarket Parking Garage, located at 899 Water Street in the heart of Tampa\'s vibrant Water Street district, serves as the primary parking facility for the Publix at Channel Club (Store #1549). This multi-level structure is designed primarily for retail customers visiting the supermarket and the surrounding urban development.
Access and Suitability
This facility is specifically designed for standard passenger vehicles. Due to its location in a high-density, mixed-use urban area, visitors should anticipate typical city garage navigation. While it offers convenient access to the Water Street neighborhood, it is not intended for oversized vehicles, RVs, or trailers.
Parking Rates and Validation
The garage offers a complimentary parking incentive for Publix customers. Visitors can typically enjoy up to 2 hours of free parking with store validation, making it an extremely cost-effective option for grocery shopping in downtown Tampa. Please note that parking beyond the validated period or for non-retail purposes may be subject to standard city garage rates or towing policies if unauthorized.
Strategic Location
Strategically situated in the Water Street Tampa redevelopment area, this parking facility serves as a convenient alternative for those visiting nearby amenities, such as Sparkman Wharf, the Florida Aquarium, and various waterfront dining destinations. However, motorists should be aware that special event rates may apply during peak times or major events at nearby stadiums and venues as determined by the City of Tampa Parking Division.
