Overview & Suitability

The Yellow Parking Lot, located at 2310 Regional Water Lane, serves as a primary overflow and event parking facility for the Tournament SportsPlex of Tampa Bay. This expansive, open-air parking area is specifically designed to accommodate high volumes of visitors during major tournaments, championships, and athletic events held at the complex. It is a commercial, surface-level lot capable of accommodating standard passenger vehicles; however, it is not intended for long-term residential parking or RV camping.

Access, Dimensions & Clearance

The facility provides straightforward access for standard cars and light trucks. As an open-air surface lot, there are no height clearance restrictions such as those found in parking garages. The lot is situated across from Columbus Drive, providing a short, pedestrian-friendly walk to the SportsPlex fields. Drivers should be aware that during peak tournament weekends, surrounding traffic on Columbus Drive can become heavily congested, and it is advised to plan for additional transit time.

Parking Rates, Tariffs & Booking

Parking rates at this facility are dynamic and typically fluctuate based on the specific event schedule. While pricing can vary, visitors should anticipate event-day charges ranging from $15.00 for on-site/day-of payments, with potential for lower pre-paid rates when booked in advance. To ensure a guaranteed spot, it is highly recommended to reserve parking online via platforms like ParkMobile or ParkWhiz before arrival. Payment methods generally include major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through the official mobile applications.

Security & Amenities

The Yellow Lot is an open-air facility focused on high-capacity event utility. Key features include:

• Unobstructed, easy-access parking spaces.
• Mobile-pass integration for seamless, contactless entry.
• Proximity to the Tournament SportsPlex, which offers on-site restrooms, concessions, and Wi-Fi services.
• Note: This lot is primarily a self-service facility and does not typically feature 24/7 on-site security staffing. Overnight parking is strictly prohibited.

Strategic Alternative

This lot acts as an essential strategic relief point for the Tournament SportsPlex of Tampa Bay. Because the main on-site parking at the SportsPlex can reach capacity quickly during large-scale soccer, lacrosse, and football tournaments, the Yellow Lot provides a reliable and authorized alternative for attendees. Its location near major interstates also makes it a convenient hub for visitors traveling from the greater Tampa and Brandon areas.
