Facility Overview
The Student Recreational Sports Center (SRSC) Parking Lot is a premier surface parking facility located on the campus of Indiana University Bloomington. Serving as the primary parking hub for the university\'s state-of-the-art recreational complex, this lot features a traditional open-air layout. It is designed to accommodate standard passenger vehicles, SUVs, and pickup trucks with ease. As a surface facility, there are no vertical clearance restrictions, making it an excellent choice for taller vehicles that may struggle with underground parking structures.
Prime Location & Nearby Attractions
This lot is strategically positioned for university life and community engagement. It is located directly adjacent to the IU Student Recreational Sports Center (SRSC). Within a short 5-to-10-minute walk, visitors can reach key campus landmarks, including the various athletic fields and nearby academic buildings. It serves as a convenient \"home base\" for students, faculty, and visitors attending fitness classes, intramural sports, or university events.
Access, Navigation & Transit Connectivity
Access to the SRSC parking area is primarily facilitated via E Law Lane. The lot layout promotes efficient traffic flow, though it can become busy during peak class hours or major intramural events. Drivers will find easy connectivity to major arterial roads such as N Fee Lane and E 10th Street, allowing for quick transit to downtown Bloomington or access to Indiana State Road 45/46 bypass. The Indiana University campus bus system has nearby stops, providing seamless integration with public transportation for those who prefer to leave their cars and traverse the wider campus.
