Overview and Suitability
The Uptown VFW Private Parking lot, located at 2917 Aldrich Ave S, is a dedicated facility serving the James Ballentine VFW Post 246. This gated surface lot features 60 spaces exclusively reserved for VFW members and authorized guests, ensuring a private and controlled parking environment. The facility is designed primarily for standard passenger vehicles and is not intended for RVs or oversized commercial motorhomes.
Access, Dimensions, and Clearance
The facility provides paved, level ground suitable for most passenger cars and light trucks. Access is controlled through a secure gated entry system requiring either an RFID card or a designated security code. Users should expect standard surface lot dimensions; while the site is well-maintained, it is optimized for high-turnover event parking rather than long-term large vehicle storage.
Parking Rates, Tariffs, and Booking
Parking at this facility is primarily prioritized for members and event patrons. Permit holders have access to monthly parking for approximately $75.00. Visitors and event guests are encouraged to check for specific event-day parking arrangements, as availability can fluctuate based on the venue\'s live music and entertainment schedule.
Security and Amenities
The facility prioritizes user safety and asset protection through several key features:
- Gated perimeter access with RFID/coded entry.
- Comprehensive CCTV monitoring to deter unauthorized activity.
- Bright LED lighting fixtures for increased visibility during evening hours.
- Dedicated ADA-compliant stalls located in close proximity to the entrance.
- Routine security patrols to ensure lot order.
