The V2 Visitors Parking Lot is a premier short-term parking facility located at 575 Parliament Garden Way NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144, on the Kennesaw Campus of Kennesaw State University (KSU). Positioned directly outside the Central Parking Deck, this lot is specifically dedicated to accommodating university guests, prospective students and their families, event attendees, and alumni. It is perfectly suited for standard passenger vehicles including sedans, SUVs, light trucks, and motorcycles. Because this is an active, campus-focused visitor lot, it is not suitable for RVs, motorhomes, trailers, or overnight camping.
Access, Dimensions & Clearance
Accessing the V2 Lot is straightforward via Chastain Road NW, turning onto Frey Road and navigating to Parliament Garden Way NW. As an open-air surface lot, there are no overhead height clearance limitations, making it much easier to navigate for taller vehicles than the neighboring multi-level Central Parking Deck. Lanes are clearly marked and wide enough for easy navigation, though the surrounding campus roads can experience heavy traffic and pedestrian congestion during peak class hours (typically mid-day from Monday to Thursday).
Parking Rates, Tariffs & Booking
The lot operates on a pay-on-arrival model, and space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking fees are structured as follows:
- Under 30 minutes: $1.00
- 31 minutes to 1 hour: $3.00
- 1 to 2 hours: $6.00
- 2 to 3 hours: $8.00
- 3 to 4 hours: $10.00
- Each additional 30 minutes: $1.00
- Maximum Daily Rate: $12.00
Payment is completely contactless. Visitors can pay using the ParkMobile App (Zone 35101), which incurs a small $0.35 transaction fee, or via the physical pay-per-plate kiosks located directly in the lot. Cash is not accepted; payments must be made via major credit or debit cards, or through the mobile app.
